Adrian Hine – Director
Adrian has worked in the freight and transport industry for over 30 years.
Opening Hine Freight Services in 2001, Adrian brings together a wealth of experience gained through his operational and managerial roles with several leading freight forwarders.
Having travelled extensively by land and sea around the world you can be sure of a knowledgeable and professional solution to your freight requirements.
Whilst away from the office, Adrian is an enthusiastic sportsman. Having sailed the Atlantic and further afield through Asia he now regularly competes in triathlons, running events and tennis tournaments. Also a keen photographer you are sure to follow his varied pursuits through the company blog.
Gill Mellor – Co Secretary
Gill has been doing the book keeping at Hine Freight Services since it was founded and is currently studying for her AAT accountancy examinations.
Gill assists with the general administration of the company. Gill has previous experience in Marketing for a local shipping line and an accounts software company.
Gill works part time at Hine Freight Services and juggles this with study, school runs and being secretary for the school PTA.
Naomi joined Hine Freight Services in 2011 and presently takes charge of import matters.
Naomi has rapidly become an expert with all things connected to Port Health and never fails to astound our clients with the speedy turnaround of food products requiring Port Health examination and Customs clearance.
Having previously run her own company, Naomi recently turned her hand to house renovations and has now settled into her new Felixstowe home.
Jasper – Office Dog
Jasper has surprisingly little interest in office life for a "working dog".
His only contribution to office duties being shredding anything discarded in the bins and reminding us when elevenses is due.
Jasper meets and greets all vistors to the office and is unsurprisingly more popular than the staff!
Hine Freight Services regularly support local and national charities and organisations. 2012 Will have our Director Adrian Hine running the Virgin London Marathon supporting Prostate and Breast Cancer Charities with Team PB.
Previously staff have supported the MS Society and MacMillans Nursing. We have swum on Christmas Day in the North Sea to support our local Hospice and helped Save the Children organising their hugely successful golf days in Felixstowe raising over £10000 for such a worthy cause.
We have previously sponsored Felixstowe Waves Swimming Clubs regional qualifiers and continue to support Felixstowe Lawn Tennis Clubs junior coaching programme seeking the next Fred Perry or Virginia Wade.
